The 5k and marathon kilted walks will both start and end on the North Inch, Perth. The half-marathon kilted walk will start at Perth Airport and finish on the North Inch. A shuttle bus will be available to transport half-marathon walkers from the North Inch to the start line at Perth Airport. The free Tartan Express shuttle bus will run on a loop between Bell's Sports Centre and the start line from 8.45 am to noon on the morning of the race.

The half marathon and 5k kilted walks will be starting at the same time as the running versions of each race. Kilted walkers are asked to keep to the back of the pack at the start line to allow runners to get away quickly.

Perth Autism Support  is the official charity partner for the kilted walks. Perth Autism Support (PAS) provides services, information and practical support to children and their families affected by Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) living in Perth and Kinross. They seek to reduce social isolation and assist integration of children with autism by providing accessible social opportunities that improve communication and social skills including activities for children with ASD to have fun and make friends with their peers.  We provide these opportunities through regular support groups.  For children who are unable to access group activities we have a befriending scheme in which they can receive one to one support from a trained befriender and we also run our Project Teen Ranch, activity weekend respite programme.  For parents we offer one to one and group support, a full training programme, health and wellbeing programme and school support.
