Our mascot

Hairy McKilty has been the mascot for Perth Kilt Run since 2013.

Once we knew the race was going to be an annual feature, we needed a face to go with the Kilt Run and after a competition amongst Perth and Kinross children aged 5-15 Hairy McKilty had a name.

Since then Hairy has trained with St Johnstone FC mascot Supersaint, taken on a Chinese dragon, challenged other mascots to a race (and won) and even tried his hand at Power Hooping!

In 2015 he got in training with Perth & Kinross Council Modern Apprentices, went out and about with the Perth Autism Support fundraising crew, had a mini makeover at Charlie Taylor's salon, took on Niall McGill, North Inch Golf Course Officer in a putting contest (see below), and got some great tips from a Live Active Leisure personal trainer. What will he get up to in 2016?
